| | it's been 2 yrs since i went back to cement jungle. I used to think the whole cement buildings look really dull and boring. Never did i know that going back there now as an alumni is a refreshing and relaxing experience. 2 yrs.. there are some changes, mostly on north side, like cant A new building, cant B, lots of new school buildings like PSMS and HSS. took some pics of the changes i find interesting. from top right (clockwise) mcdonald's(bigger outlet), executive cafe near food court( there's buffet! ), new cant B( partially renovated, not sure abt new signboard), food court aka new cant A(reminds me of old cant 3, cos u'll smell like canteen after eating there).
Overall, the school still looks quite the same apart from e additions and changes. e only thing can lament abt is time. How time passes. How we from freshies to professionals in different fields. How we lament about exam stress then, when job stress is 2x or 3x worse than that now.
Looking back, i really miss those carefree days. I neva really regretted - sleeping during lectures - sleeping during tutorials( sumtimes la.. hee..) - mugging for exams in tutorial rms - lamenting eating vegetarian food for lunch at cant b - drooling at eye candies.. (hahahaha... ) - ta-bao-ing almost every sem.. (haiz... ) - learning and sharing ideas ( or even crap..) - meeting ppl ( good and bad..)
With my guide Dennis, we explored through the new additions and changes, walk through the old familiar places, recalling all the old memories. It is truly a relaxing experience. I wish i could go back again.. maybe once in a while... maybe at nite, can go to e "windy place" looking over at the brightly (sumtimes fire-ly lit) litted tuas and jurong industrial site. For once... i've forgotten the buzzling scene in the city, and truly enjoyed being in the dull yet relaxing environment. (bet the students there won't agree with me.. hee)
